.404" RMHS Rapid Micro lanac

The STIHL .404" Rapid Micro Harvester (RMHS) saw chain is designed for use with special machines (harvesters). With this special version of the Rapid Micro chain, professionals in forestry can efficiently fell and delimb trees by means of mechanical logging. This saw chain is very powerful as it can be used at a higher drive power than STIHL RMH saw chains. The half-chisel saw chain with specially shaped cut-depth limiters offers high cutting performance and at the same time low vibration. 

All saw chain parts that are under strain, in particular the connecting links, drive links and rivet pins, are heavily reinforced, so that the chain is very robust to withstand the high stresses in the timber harvester. Asymmetrical sliding surfaces on the tooth bases and connecting links make the STIHL .404" Rapid Micro Harvester (RMHS) chain very durable, reducing crack formation and wear, and meaning that you benefit from a very long service life with this special chain. The harvester saw chain with a drive link thickness of 2.0 mm is also characterised by a low chattering tendency.

Note: The .404" Rapid Micro Harvester (RMHS) chain from STIHL is not suitable for handheld chainsaws.
